  “Moshiach Seudah”

a customary Chassidic meal

Chabad marks the Baal Shem Tov's tradition of acknowledging Moshiach's spirit on the last day of Passover.

Feast of Moshiach

Join us as we conclude Passover with Seudat Mashiach, the traditional Feast of Moshiach. Bring the whole family for the traditional feast, inspirational stories, songs, matzah & four cups of wine. In anticipation of the future redemption with Moshiach.

Tuesday, April 18th 6:00 PM

The custom of Moshiach Seudah began with the Baal Shem Tov, the founder of the Chasidic movement. He explained that as the first days of Pesach deal with the redemption from Egypt, the last days of the holiday focus on the ultimate redemption by Moshiach. He would make a festive meal at the close of the holiday, dedicated to the coming of Moshiach. Since then Jews throughout the world come together on the last day of Pesach to celebrate this unique custom.
